Look, its hard out there. Staying motivated isn’t easy and details can easily fall through the cracks as our lives, well, happen. Sometimes there are inevitable variables, like an unexpected work meeting that get in the way of our daily routines and send our schedules out of whack. I don’t have children, but for some of you that may be a factor. I wouldn’t want to go to the gym if little Johnny had kept me up all night either. But these are still just excuses. While everyone’s goals are different and some of us are more “hardcore” about our levels of commitment to our sport, one fact remains the same, we must show up. Being present at the gym is the first and main objective. One school of thought says to not bother showing up if you’re not going to give 120%. I don’t agree with that. So many of us fail at our fitness goals because we find it difficult to stick to a routine or we “don’t have time.” Dont break your routine! Make time! Right now I’m nursing a bit of …
